What new information has emerged?

The new information that has emerged is that a suicide bomber has killed atleast nine people in Shiite district of the capital. Three US soldiers have been killed in this explosion.

What did I find interesting about this article?

The parts that I found interesting was that there were bombings on both the districts of Baghdad and other people also got injured and some are dead.

What did you like about the initial blog posting?

I really liked the way nadiah presentated she knew most of the article but just to help she had cards to read from. She also was confident on her presentation. Good work Nadiah!!!

                                 Horus ‘s  Speech

Hello my name is Horus don’t be confused with the other 20 gods who are also called Horus because I am the one and only sky god Horus. Just to help you understand who I am I have a falcon head. There now I think you know who I am.

     My name is actually heru that’s the original Egyptian name. Horus is what the Greeks named me so every body around the world started to call me Horus. Heru means the distant one.

     Osiris my dad and Isis my mom are the greatest parents but after my dad died I was supposed to take over my dads kingdom. Uncle Seth declared war with me and we went through a lot of pain as I have castrated him that’s why the desert which he represented became infertile and he has cut off my eye. I was lucky to get my eye back into its place

      My eyes were so important to the world because one of my eyes was the moon and the other was the sun. Since I am the sky god I fly over the sky and that what makes the movement of the sun and moon.

      So you see guys I am very important to the ancient Egyptian people, as I am the sky god Horus. Thank you

What is the issue?

The issue is that there was a fight in Somalia which killed over 250 people and have injured alot. The UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon had to end this huge fight.

Who is involved?

The people that are involved are :

• The UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon
• The citizens                       

Who is affected and how?

The people that are affected are the UN secretary general Ban Ki Moon, and the citizens. General Ban Ki Moon is affected because he had to make this decision and the citizens are affected because they are the ones who started this fight and lots of them got injured.

What would I do if I were directly involved?

If I were directly involved I would ask the goverment to give shelter, food, water to those people who lost and dependant on their loved ones and make sure that there will never be another big fight.

What new information has emerged?

The new information that has emerged is that there were people protesting against the US-Iraqi security plan and there were bombs in New Baghdad 60 people were killed and 131 injured because the cars were in a market.Later on there was another bomb Sadr City that killed 2 and injured 10

What did you find interesting about the topic?

The things that I found interesting were that people would protest against a thing that is for security and only three bombs can kill 60 people .

I really liked the way Andrea presented and how she answered each and every question slowly and properly

What is the issue?

The issue is that the children living under damp or mould-infested houses are getting asthma permanently but the asthma experts are not fully sure that the mould could cause permanent asthma.There is a huge debate going on between the European Respiratory Journal and the UK asthma experts .

The people that are involved are:

• The children’s families
• The European Respiratory Journal people
• The UK asthma experts 

 Who is afected and how?

The people that are involved are the families of the children getting asthma because they are worried and scared if their children would become alright and the UK asthma experts who are trying to find out what actually causes the asthma and the European Respiratory Journal who is convinced that the mould is causing the children to get asthma permanently .

What would I do if I were directly invoved?

If I were directly involved I would get all the people and children who live in damp and mould infested houses to move out of there and I would make a shelter for all these people to go there and maintain it so that no mould would come there even if the mould did not cause the asthma because everyone needs to be clean deserves a house that does not have mould in it.

Africa Wiki What would you change about the final product (the wiki you created) if you were to do the assignment again? If I were to change something in my wikispace I would add some more pictures to it and improve on all the information that is on there.

I liked the way this group worked and they many pictures to help us visualize the information that they have wrote on the wiki.   

Hi, i am responsing to Mahera’s blog.

I think she had a good topic because we know how it feels when something happens to our home and family and how to encounter the propblem if it ever happens to us.

I couldn’t see any flaws except she didn’t tell us the date of when it happened and what was the cause for it to happen only to Philippines and not to the neighbouring countries

What is the issue? 

The issue is that there are 70,000 people living under HIV/aids in
UK including 7,450 new types of HIV infections 

Who is involved? 

The people that are involved are the people who have got aids and HIV, the doctors and medical researchers  and the people who are called aids activists are trying to solve the issue  

Who is affected and how? 

The families of the people who have aids suffer greatly for no fault of there’s especially pregnant mothers who give birth to children who have aids  

What would I do if I were directly involved? 

If I were directly involved I would cause an awareness and make sure the people especially youngsters understand the concept of having SAFE SEX

What did you learn while making this wiki?

I learnt alot about teamwork as we were working on this project. I also got to know about how to insert links and piuctures and most of all how to create a website.

Did you enjoy making the wiki? why or why not?

Yes I did enjoy this wiki because I had lots of fun during this wiki and also all the new thing I had learnt about.

How could a wiki be used for other classes?

We could use it for what we learnt in class and all the other projects we do in .
